Hoot- N- Holler

My friend told me this joke and I thought I'd share....corny,yes,but funny!!

WHO ARE THE TWO SEXIEST ANIMALS ON THE FARM??

BROWN CHICKEN,BROWN COW~~~(get it bow chicka wow wow...brown chicken, brown cow)

BAHAAAAAA!

still makes me laugh, I am easily amused....

What was that all about??

So yes, even in the holler we do have tv's,hard to believe we are that technologically advanced...we even have indoor plumbing for bout a yer now.LOL. As a busy mama, I usually tiVo my shows, one of being Grey's Anatomy...which last night....RIDICULOUS! I can honestly say their has not been an episode that I disliked, until last night! ALL that SINGING!! If I wanted to watch a musical we would have popped in High School Musical for the hundreth thousand time!! I am not a tv critic....but, if they keep that up the one tv we got down in this holler will be tuned in to something else on Thursday nightS!!:} Just sayin.

Take me out to the ball game!

Softball season has began, well practice rather. My six year old is playing her second year of softball this year and I will say, although I am partial, she is pretty dang good! This, makes me proud, not just that she is good, but she shares my love for softball. I thoroughly enjoy watching her team practice/play...if you have not watched 4,5,and 6 year olds play a sport it is a treat. Usually they are digging in the dirt, off in lala land, or dancing around not paying attention. I love it, it is hilarious! Children are so special and they make our days brighter. Tomorrow we have our first tournament as a team, I am looking forward to cheering my daughter and her team mates on! Of course, I want them to win, because I am rather competitive, but, more importantly at this age I want them to learn and have fun! Go Liberty and Good Luck! And just remember get your glove on the ground and 1st base is this way!! LOL.

Her first Turkey!!

My daughter killed her very first Gobbler at the age of six this past weekend!! Her daddy took her and got to share that special moment with her. Then they came home to show me who was as equally as proud! I have never killed a turkey so I thought it was pretty awesome that my six year old has done something I have not done! She was so excited in a sweet modest sort of way!! And of course that night we fried that delicious wild turkey and enjoyed what our daughter had provided for our table. And if you haven't taste wild turkey you haven't lived, it is mmm, mmm, good!
And after a good day of hunting and a good meal,my daughter ended her day on  this. Dear Lord, thankyou for letting me kill my first turkey...and please let the next one be even bigger,oh, and thanks for letting us eat it. Amen. Sounds like her daddy's prayers...LOL.
